Dear HWLF Supporter:
Please join us for one of Hawaii’s most talked-about charitable events, the Hawaii Women’s Legal Foundation’s (HWLF) 21st annual fundraiser on Saturday, September 17, 2011, 5:30 p.m. at the Tapa Ballroom of the Hilton Hawaiian Village (elegant Hawaiian attire requested).
Inspired by the cool glamour of Hawaii’s premier crime fighters, the theme of this year’s program is Hawaii 5-OH! Come and see our talented cast of lawyers, politicians, and business leaders fight crime Hawaiian style like you’ve never seen before. No fiendish mastermind will be able to outwit our 5-0H Team as they punch, kick, sing and shimmy to protect the good citizens of Honolulu.
One hundred percent of the event’s net proceeds are used to fulfill the mission of HWLF to help Hawaii’s women and children in need improve their lives and to promote the advancement of qualified women in the legal profession. HWLF, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed in 1982, provides grants to various nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated a long-term commitment to educating, protecting, and empowering the women and children of Hawaii. These grants have a significant, positive impact on our community and are especially important during these difficult economic times.
You have many opportunities to help make a difference in the lives of Hawaii’s women and children.
